SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the timely and cost-effective recruitment of physicians and NPs including locum tenens to work for Valley Children's Specialty Medical Group and Valley Children's Primary Care Group.Manages and coordinates a comprehensive physician recruitment program designed to support the needs of the health network.Develops recruitment strategies and processes that include a focus on retention and productivity.Facilitates development and distribution of employment offers, completion of visa information, and completion of onboarding applications as appropriate. Works collaboratively with the hospital's Recruitment Services to leverage best practices and coordinate recruiting efforts.The incumbent collaborates with physician leadership identifying needs, assessing candidates and works proactively to meet the goals of the network.Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with multiple key stakeholders.Extensive travel may be required.
REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (with a high school diploma or GED). Minimum three (3) years recruitment experience, preferably in a healthcare environment. Knowledge of current human resources/recruitment practice and applicable federal/state employment regulations. Exceptional communication, organization and time management skills needed to be successful.
